DAY 01

  • Airport - Colombo

ARRIVAL IN AUCKLAND

Arrive in Auckland, New Zealand’s vibrant City of Sails, and begin your special New Zealand–Sri Lanka cricket celebration journey. The Paradise Explorer team will welcome you at Auckland International Airport and assist with your luggage before transferring you by private, air-conditioned coach to your selected hotel. After check-in and time to refresh, enjoy a special Welcome Dinner, meet fellow travellers and receive an introduction to the exciting tour ahead.

DAY 02

  • AUCKLAND CITY DISCOVERY

After breakfast and hotel check-out, enjoy a professionally guided tour of Auckland’s iconic landmarks. Visit the Sky Tower for panoramic city and harbour views, explore the vibrant Viaduct Harbour, and enjoy shopping and leisure time on Queen Street. Continue to beautiful Mission Bay for photography, relaxation and refreshments while admiring the scenic Waitematā Harbour.

 
 
 

DAY 03

  • LEGENDS CRICKET MATCH – IN AUCKLAND

Experience New Zealand’s Most Iconic Sporting Venue

Following breakfast at the hotel, guests will travel to New Zealand’s largest and most prestigious sporting stadium. Today you will witness the exciting Legends Cricket Match, featuring former international cricket stars in a memorable celebration of the enduring cricket relationship between New Zealand and Sri Lanka.

After the match, there will be free time to explore the Auckland stadium precinct before returning to the hotel.

DAY 04

  • TRAVEL TO HAMILTON

Breakfast at the hotel

Journey to the Waikato Region

After breakfast, depart Auckland and travel south to Hamilton, the host city of the historic Test Match. Enjoy scenic views through the lush Waikato countryside before arriving in Hamilton.

Following hotel check-in, enjoy a short orientation tour of Hamilton’s city centre and the Waikato River before relaxing in preparation for the cricket festivities.

DAY 05

  • TEST MATCH – DAY 1

Another exciting day of international Test cricket awaits. Enjoy the atmosphere at Seddon Park while witnessing world-class cricket between New Zealand and Sri Lanka.

  • TEST MATCH – DAY 2

Another exciting day of international Test cricket awaits. Enjoy the atmosphere at Seddon Park while witnessing world-class cricket between New Zealand and Sri Lanka.

DAY 07

  • HAMILTON GARDENS & TEST MATCH – DAY 3

Before the day’s play begins, visit the internationally acclaimed Hamilton Gardens, renowned for its themed gardens inspired by cultures from around the world.

Following the visit, continue to Seddon Park for Day 3 of the Test Match.

Karakariki Christian Camp (Selected nights of the tour will include camp accommodation. Guests who prefer to stay in a hotel instead may request alternative hotel accommodation, subject to availability. Any additional hotel costs, including transfers where applicable, will be charged separately)

  • TEST MATCH – DAY 4

Continue enjoying the excitement of the Test Match. Following the day’s play, guests may relax or explore Hamilton’s cafés and riverside precinct.

DAY 09

  • TEST MATCH – FINAL DAY & FAREWELL DINNER

Witness the thrilling conclusion of the historic Test Match before celebrating the successful tour with a special Farewell Dinner (Optional).

DAY 10

  • ROTORUA GEOTHERMAL DISCOVERY

Travel to Rotorua for a full-day sightseeing experience. Explore the famous geothermal region, Māori culture and beautiful lakes before returning to Hamilton in the evening.

DAY 11

  • RETURN TO AUCKLAND & DEPARTURE

Continue enjoying the excitement of the Test Match. Following the day’s play, guests may relax or explore Hamilton’s cafés and riverside precinct.
