  • Buddha Rashmi National Vesak Festival Gangaramaya

Experience Buddha Rashmi Vesak Zone – Colombo

The Buddha Rashmi Vesak Zone is one of Sri Lanka’s most spectacular Vesak celebrations, held annually around Gangaramaya Temple and Beira Lake in Colombo. The festival features beautifully illuminated lanterns, colorful pandals (Thorana), devotional songs, cultural performances, religious activities, and free food stalls (Dansal), creating a peaceful and festive atmosphere that attracts thousands of local and international visitors each year.

DAY 04

  • Kandy

The hill capital of Kandy, the last stronghold of Sinhala kings against the British Empire, lies picturesquely surrounded by mountains and rivers just 115 km away from Colombo.

Thereafter, visit the Kandy Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (UNESCO World Heritage Site) (Optional – Entrance direct by the client)

Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha

DAY 05

  • Kandy Leisure

Visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden (Optional – Entrance direct by the client)

Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya are about 5.5 km to the west of the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. In 2016, the garden was visited by 1.2 million locals and 400,000 foreign visitors

DAY 05

  • Enjoy the cultural show in the evening (Optional – Entrance direct by the client)

Experiencing new cultures and traditions is one of the reasons why people travel and this show featuring dancing, drums, fluting, and songs, Sri Lankan traditional dancing is often a raucous performance.

  • Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

Check out from the hotel and proceed to Nuwara Eliya

En route, visit Tea Plantations & Experience the art of tea plucking – Collect leaves in a basket, and learn how to pluck tea.

  • Nuwara Eliya

Also known as “Little England”, the scenic town of Nuwara Eliya lies nestled in a valley more than 2500m above sea level and is surrounded by misty mountain ranges covered in pine forests and tea cultivations

Visit Galle Dutch Fort (UNESCO World Heritage site)

Spend the rest of the days at leisure by the beach
