DAY 01

  • Airport - Dambulla

Dambulla is a large town, situated in the Matale District, Central Province of Sri Lanka, 148 km north-east of Colombo and 72 km north of Kandy.

Day 02

  • Polonnaruwa Excursion

Enjoy the Habarana Village Tour in the Morning 

This maximum three-hour program is designed for you to experience the real traditional Sri Lankan rural village style

In the Afternoon, Visit Polonnaruwa Ancient City (UNESCO World heritage site) 

 Polonnaruwa is Sri Lanka’s second oldest kingdom and features a plethora of ruins and places of religious worship. Ancient Sinhala architecture combined with the South Indian architectural characteristics

 

 

DAY 03

  • Anuradhapura Excursion

Visit Anuradhapura Ancient City (Optional) – Entrance direct by the client 

From stunning rock carvings and temples to giant stone pillars, history lovers are in for a rare treat at Anuradhapura

 

DAY 04

  • Dambulla - Kandy

In the Morning, Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage site) (Optional) 

Sigiriya is a magnificent rock fortress built in the 5th century A.D.  Sigiriya is, in fact, the best-preserved city center in Asia from the first millennium and has been named as a world heritage site.

DAY 04

  • En route visit Spice Gardens in Matale and wood carving factory in Naula

Visit a spice garden in Matale to see many different types of spices Sri Lanka is famous for. Just 25 km from the hill capital of Kandy, the Matale spice gardens are among the best on the island.

DAY 04

  • Kandy

The hill capital of Kandy, the last stronghold of Sinhala kings against the British Empire, lies picturesquely surrounded by mountains and rivers just 115 km away from Colombo

Proceed with Kandy City & Shopping

Kandy is not only Sri Lanka’s second-largest city, but also a great place for shopping for local spices and souvenirs.

Visit Gem Museum and Batik factory

Thereafter visit Kandy Temple of Tooth Relic (UNESCO World Heritage site) (Optional) 

Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha

 

 

DAY 05

  • Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

Nuwara Eliya

En-route visit Tea Plantations & Experience the art of tea plucking – Collect leaves in a basket, and learn how to pluck tea.

Sri Lanka is renowned for being one of the finest tea makers in the world, today you can experience the making and the taste of best tea product.

Nuwara Eliya

Also known as “Little England”, the scenic town of Nuwara Eliya lies nestled in a valley more than 2500m above sea level and is surrounded by misty mountain ranges covered in pine forests and tea cultivations

 

Proceed with Nuwara Eliya City Tour in the afternoon

 

DAY 06

  • Nuwara Eliya – Ella - Yala

Catch the train from Nanu Oya to Ella (Subject to Availability)

The Nanu Oya to Ella train journey is said to be one of the most scenic, epic train journeys in not only just Sri Lanka but the world

  • Nuwara Eliya -Ella -Yala

Ella is a small town in the Badulla District of Uva Province, Sri Lanka, governed by an Urban Council. It is approximately 200 kilometres east of Colombo and is situated at an elevation of 1,041 meters above sea level. The area has a rich biodiversity, dense with numerous varieties of flora and fauna.

DAY 06

  • Proceed to Yala

Situated in Sri Lanka’s south-east, hugging the panoramic Indian Ocean, Yala was designated a wildlife sanctuary in 1900 and was designated a national park in 1938.

 

 

DAY 07

  • Yala – Southern Beach

Enjoy the Yala National Park Jeep Safari in the Morning (Optional) 

The Yala National Park in southern Sri Lanka has the world’s highest concentration of leopards. Much of the nature reserve is parkland, but it also includes jungle, beaches, freshwater lakes and rivers and scrubland.

DAY 07

  • En route visit Galle Dutch Fort (UNESCO World Heritage site)

Windswept beaches and nodding palms surround its colonial-era showpiece, a 16th-century Portuguese-built fort, while the rest of the city is trimmed with Dutch-style houses, quirky shops, whitewashed mansions, and heritage museums.

DAY 08

  • Southern Beach

People from all around the world come to explore Sri Lanka’s best beaches. The scenic views of these gorgeous sandy shores are sure to make you want to revisit these beautiful beaches in and around Sri Lanka.
