Day 1 Colombo City tour and shopping

During the city tour you’ll be visiting top tourist attractions in Colombo such as Colombo National Museum, Wolvendaal Church, Independence square. Also, you will be seeing the Old Parliament building, Galle Face Green and drive through the busy Colombo bazaars, Pettah Market, Dutch Hospital.

Day 2 Dambulla

Dambulla is a large town, situated in the Matale District, Central Province of Sri Lanka, 148 km north-east of Colombo and 72 km north of Kandy

Day 3 Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage site)

Sigiriya is a magnificent rock fortress built in the 5th century A.D.  Sigiriya is, in fact, the best-preserved city center in Asia from the first millennium and has been named as a world heritage site.

Day 4 Explore Polonnaruwa Ancient City (UNESCO World Heritage site) Visit Anuradhapura ancient city

Polonnaruwa is Sri Lanka’s second oldest kingdom and features a plethora of ruins and places of religious worship. Ancient Sinhala architecture combined with the South Indian architectural characteristics is what sets Polonnaruwa apart from Anuradhapura.

Anuradhapura, the first capital of the ancient kingdom of Sri Lanka for some 1400 years, is located in the North Central province of Sri Lanka. With the introduction of Buddhism in the 4th century BC, the sacred city was built around the Bo-Tree which was planted in 245 BC.the 14th century onwards.

Day 5 Visit Dambulla Cave Temple (UNESCO World Heritage site) Visit Spice Gardens in Matale & Kandy

Dambulla cave temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country.

Kandy

The hill capital of Kandy, the last stronghold of Sinhala kings against the British Empire, lies picturesquely surrounded by mountains and rivers just 115 km away from Colombo

Visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden

Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya are about 5.5 km to the west of the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. In 2016, the garden was visited by 1.2 million locals and 400,000 foreign visitors

Visit Ceylon Tea Museum in Kandy

The Ceylon Tea Museum in Hantane showcases historic tea machinery, exhibits, a café, tea shop, and scenic views, enhancing Kandy’s tourist appeal.
